Skills Training Programme Manager - Tokai Main Road (On-Site)

Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and drive the Programme strategy.
Engage with current and potential stakeholders (industry, government, training providers etc.)
to advance the training programme and work-place experience for the trainees and interns.
Advance partnership and donor opportunities to build sustainability of the training
programme.
Drive the Financial stability of the Programme whilst maximizing delivery of training to
beneficiaries.
Work with the Finance team to ensure sound financial management, setting annual targets
and preparing appropriate budgets.
Work with the SETAs and QCTO to ensure access to funding of training and internship grants.
Ensure that our accredited training programmes with the SETAs and QCTO as well as our nonaccredited
training remain up to date and relevant, driving the acquisition/development of
new content when required.
Manage a team of training and administrative staff ensuring that they are capacitated and
that training and it’s administration are executed to the highest standards.
Implement a transition to online content delivery as well as the establishment of an LMS for
the Green Skills activities.
Ensure all aspects of Training Administration are executed timeously and accurately,
particularly when working with the SETAs and QCTO online systems.
Collaborate with other Nature Connect projects/programmes to ensure that we leverage off
relationships and coordinate target clarity.
Qualifications and Requirements
A tertiary qualification ideally at the Bachelors level.
At least 6 years of project management experience along with setting and managing
budgets.
Experience with working with SETAs and QCTO.
Computer literacy in the MS Office suite is essential. Experience with MS SharePoint and an LMS
is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, record keeping and event recall.
Experience with training in the Conservation and Environmental space as well as an
established industry network is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Employment Terms
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30 (40 hours per week).
Office-based in Tokai, Cape Town.
Salary: R27,000-30,000 per month full Cost to Company.
